About Me

My home is one of my most cherished spaces. Growing up I was always close with my family. I never had the conflict that siblings sometimes have with each other. I never hated my parents for them doing their job. And I have never missed a family event. This created a comfortable love for my home, one that I didn't want to break. Unfortunately that came into conflict with my next love, theater. Slowly from the ages of thirteen to eighteen I left home every year for longer periods of time. I attended Interlochen first for their summer camp then for the academy. Every time I left I experienced what I would call separation anxiety. This anxiety pushed me to appreciate my family even more. When I finally left my home for my senior year at IAA, I could feel how my life changed. My anxiety was apparent all throughout the year, however my idea of family was expanded. There I learned that my family isn't just my blood related relatives, but also my friends and mentors. I learned to love everyone. Now this idea bleeds into my work. I try to give love and joy to every character/ story that I am a part of. I am so thankful to have been gifted this lesson, but I will always remember who gave me this gift my parents, my brother, and everyone back home.

Experience

From the moment I began my life in theater at the age of eight I have sought one thing, joy. Ever since I was eight when I created my first show, I have done and studied Theater because of how happy it makes me. This has allowed me to be in over fifty productions throughout my life so far. This same drive for happiness has pushed me to seek out the places where I believe I can grow as an artist. From the age of thirteen to fifteen I attended Interlochen Center for the Arts as a Musical Theater student. After my three years attending the summer camp, I decided to spend my senior year at Interlochen Arts Academy on the Acting Track. Here at the academy I learned so many knew ways to love my craft, so after much thought about what to do after high school, I decided to attend the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Currently I now study at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts).
